How BidProof reviews your solar proposal
Upload the documents you have, confirm a few details, and get a second read paid for by you — before you sign.
Choose a review and share your documents
Upload your proposal for Bid Review ($49). For Bid + Contract Review ($99 total), send the contract you would sign and the proposal so we can compare them. PDFs, photos, and screenshots work.
Confirm what we read, and tell us what matters
We extract the numbers from your documents and ask you to confirm the important ones. Goals are optional. If you are still deciding what you want from solar, we review the proposal on its face.
Pay, then we run the checks
You pay for the review, then we check the published categories against independent data. Where a check cannot run, the report says “not checked” rather than guessing.
Read the report and take questions back to the seller
You get a plain-language result, findings, and a list of questions. The report is yours to keep or share. It is not legal, tax, financial, or engineering advice.
What you should know up front
Who it is for
Residential homeowners in the United States who have a solar proposal and have not signed — or who still have a cancellation window they can use. We do not review commercial projects, and we do not rank installers.
When information is missing
We run every check we can. The rest are marked “Not checked,” with the information needed to assess them. We explain what we couldn’t check and why, without inventing information to fill a gap.
If you only have the proposal
Start with Bid Review for $49 if you have a proposal. Bid + Contract Review costs $99 total. If your contract arrives later, contact support to arrange its review for $50 more on the same previously reviewed proposal. Contact support.
