Bid Review is for homeowners who have a residential solar proposal and want a second read before they sign. We do not sell your information or send you to an installer.

Who it is for

You have one or more solar quotes. You are not looking for a new installer. You want to know whether the price, production, savings, equipment, and financing on the paper in front of you are supported by the documents and independent data.

What you receive

A plain-language report covering the published bid-review categories, with findings, questions to ask, and checks marked “not checked” when the documents do not support them. See a sample report and the full list on what we check.

What to send

Send your solar proposal for Bid Review. For Bid + Contract Review, include the contract you would sign and the proposal so we can compare them. If you only have the contract, we explain what we could not compare without the proposal. PDFs, photos, and screenshots are fine. An electricity bill is optional but recommended. Upload one recent bill, including its 12-month usage history if shown, to help us check the proposal against your electricity use.

Turnaround

Automated reviews are completed instantly. If your bid needs a human review, expect your report within 2 business days, usually sooner.

Price

Start with Bid Review for $49 if you have a proposal. Bid + Contract Review costs $99 total. If your contract arrives later, contact support to arrange its review for $50 more on the same previously reviewed proposal.

Questions

Will this tell me which installer to choose?

No. It reviews the documents you bring. It does not rank or refer companies.

What if I have two bids?

Each purchase reviews one proposal. Compare the reports side by side. We do not yet sell a multi-bid bundle.

Can I add my contract later?

Yes. Start with Bid Review for $49. If you've already paid for that proposal, email support@bidproof.com when its contract is ready. Include the email address used for your review and your original order or report link. We'll arrange the contract review for the same proposal for $50 more, bringing your total to $99. Contact us before paying for another review, and send the contract before you sign.
